With 520 miles of shoreline, many of our neighborhoods have direct access to the lake which offers myriad ways to enjoy your days and nights. If you are from a big city you will find a slower, gentler pace where people will wave to you, cars will let you merge in no matter how much traffic, and you will learn to truly relax. That is why so many of us from other states like New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Michigan, California, Florida love living here.

Why are so many folks choosing to move to Lake Norman? Most of my relocating buyers are coming for the lake itself and the lifestyle choices it offers: the great weather with 4 mild but distinct seasons making it perfect for boating, golfing, tennis, and a generally active lifestyle; the more affordable standard of living; the proximity to Charlotte; the dynamic local economy; the wonderful mountain communities like Ashville that are less that 2 hours away; the beautiful beaches about 5 hours drive and the fact that we are not far from so many major cities in the southeast, northeast and midwest.

You will fit in! Because of the influx of so many from around the country, Lake Norman is a bit of a microcosm of the country. We have great restaurants, arts and cultural events that rival any metropolitan area. But, wander a few miles away from the lake and you will find yourself surrounded by rolling hills with farms and small southern towns dotting the landscape. Sports? You name it and we probably have it.
